About Me
I have been married to my lovely wife Wendy since November 28, 1980. We have three wonderful children; Jack, Regina and Travis. We have five grandchildren; Ashley, Tayler, Reese, Charlie and Christian. We also have one great-grandson, Landon
As I start to get closer to retirement I find that I am busier than ever. My work at JSJ Corporation as a computer geek and my family are keeping me going along with my outside interests.
I have been on the Grand Haven Area Public Schools Board of Education since July 1999. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time on the board as I have learned a lot. I am presently the board treasurer a position that I have held for several years. I recently received the Presidents Award from the Michigan Association of School Boards. This award is the highest level (7th) award that a board member can receive. It took nine long years to achieve it but it was well worth it.
I am also a director on the Grand Haven Schools Foundation. I am entering my 11th year on the foundation board and am looking to another successful year of supporting early childhood education in Grand Haven.
I am a member of the Eagles Aerie 925 and the VFW Post 2326 Men's Auxiliary.
